On many occasions, I click on a website and get a grey bar with a red x across the top of a blank page that says "Firefox won't allow page," or "Firefox has redirected this page," but nothing happens. Why is Firefox blocking these pages and what can I do short of going to IE to stop it?

Please provide a screenshot of a page where that happens.

If that is a feature in Firefox, I have never seen it. But I suspect that is caused by a security or "control" program installed on that PC, or by a Firefox add-on, or something installed on your network - Firewall, Router, or server.

On a Mac, Click on Firefox Preferences. Click on Advanced, then General and clear the box: Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page.
