not able to sign in to my internet provider's website (consolidated.net) but am able to do so thru IE and Chrome
For some strange reason, Firefox is suddenly preventing me from signing in to my internet service provider's website (consolidated.net) and thus shutting me out of my email service; however, I am still able to access the website and email service through both Explorer and Google Chrome. Consolidated's tech reps could find nothing wrong at their end.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I can't sign in to Paypal using Firefox 3.6.12 or 4.0b9. I get an error screen labeled "Sorry — your last action could not be completed" with a messge 3014. Also, in Ebay, when I try to bid or buy on an item, I get the sign in page even though I'm already signed. If I click Sign In, it keeps looping back to the sign in page. Clearing cache and history has no effect. The problems occur in safe mode of Firefox. I don't have these problems in I.E. 8.0.6001. And these functions worked in Firefox until last November. I am running Vista Home Premium sp2 64 bit.
