How do I disable the split feature or remove it from the menu bar
the split feature is very annoying. the tab appears and gets selected by accident. once a tab is split I can't seem to undo it. Then I just have to close the tab I was working in and reload it. I just want this feature to go away. This seems to be something new.

Yes. This is very annoying and inconvenient. Sometimes I may be at the final step to complete an order, etc. Other times the split arrow comes down when I'm trying to place on something important. For example, it is almost impossible to use the date option to pay bills using my online banking. The arrows to move or change to the month or date I need to set up a bill payment is not allowed because the split button comes down in it's place. PLEASE remove this feature or at least make it easier to undo and/or disable. In cases of paying bills it MUST be disabled.
