If this account uses "Normal Password" as its authentication method:
- Go to <Settings | Privacy & Security | Passwords | Saved Passwords>. You can edit your existing password there.
If this account uses "OAuth2" as its authentication method:
- Go to <...Saved Passwords> and delete any entries for that account/user name.
- Go to <Settings | Privacy & Security | Web Content | Show Cookies> and delete any cookies from this email provider.
- Make sure the the "Accept Cookies from Sites" option is enabled.
- Restart Thunderbird and you will be prompted for your new credentials.
