Sync issue
I signed in to https://accounts.firefox.com to sync Firefox on iPhone iOS 26 and got a sign in from an unexpected location.
Firefox iOS on iOS 18.7 Toronto, ON, Canada (estimated) Tuesday, Jun 9, 2026 11:43:14 AM (EDT)
I am in the NY,US and do not own any iOS 18.7 device.
Can you give me more information why the jump to a foreign device?

Hello dear Dr Bubble. This problem is caused of the newer IOS version and as of Firefox side they only have the device recognition till IOS 18.7. Same problem applied for me. Just wait and they will most probably fix it soon!
Now my other machine is showing up as if I am in Mumbai but again should show NY.
If you check https://mylocation.org/ to get the idea how you "appear" from the outside, how precise that renders for you?
(The iOS/macOS versions are really stale, they haven't been updating since 10.15 on desktop and since 18.7 on mobile, so they appear this confusing when presented as "a fact" :/ But that's when vendors stopped updating them for privacy reasons…)
Like I said NYC, NY, USA on https://mylocation.org/
Well the verification was mostly to check how your ISP recycles or groups IP addresses but if any other IP–to–geo tools place you in the expected region and you're not using any VPNs, anonymizing proxies etc., it must be wrong on the capturing side.
Please submit the details above via https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account so that it gets in front of the folks who are able to look at your account details, to help verify why such geolocation, and if it's a bug they want to track. Thanks.
