On many websites, a little Accessibility button appears and is sometimes in my way. Is there a way to block that feature from showing up?

The Accessibility button looks like its caused by an accessibility feature of Mac OS. 1. Does it do anything if you try to click on the center of the button or if you click on the X? 2. Could you confirm if the button appears on the same websites when you are using another browser?
I suspect that you may be able to prevent this from showing up by going to Mac's System Settings -> Accessibility and going through what is selected in the settings.
