Hi Andrew, those might be notifications sites send to Firefox, which could be displayed either by Firefox or by Windows. As a first step, adjust your notification permissions on the Settings page this way: Open the Settings page using either: * menu button > Settings * (menu bar or Alt+T) Tools > Settings In the tiny search box, slowly type ''notif'' until the Permissions section comes into view. To the right of Notifications, click the Settings... button. If there are any sites listed with "Allow" permission that you don't trust and want to get notifications from, switch its permission to "Block." Then click Save Changes. Any improvement?
