the update square shows it is sill running after 2 days with 0 progress
All I have is an older windows 7 dell laptop and firefox was working ok but then it said firefox must be updated by march 14 so i clicked on the update but it has been over 24 hours and the little circle is still going around with 0 results why

Hi, a little circle is going around on the download page? Can you cancel it?
If you can access other parts of Firefox, check your version on the Troubleshooting Information page. See: Use the Troubleshooting Information page to help fix Firefox issues
If your version listed in the first section of the page is at least
115.13.0esr
then you are updated enough to avoid the problem that starts in March 14th. Actually, the 115 series is already up to
115.21.0esr
so you probably got the update last Fall.
