I've just downloaded the NASA'S EYES app to my Win11 system. My default browser is Firefox, with NoScript, ABP and Ghostery installed (yeah, that's probably overkill). When I attempt to launch the NASA app, it wakes up just enough to look for updates, shows me a startup panel, then that panel disappears. I gather there's supposed to be some sort of behind-the scenes linkage that's not working. How can I fix that? Do I need to shut down the add-ins?

For Addon issues you need to contact the Addon developer for support on using their software.

Sorry, this isn't a Firefox Add-on, it's a free-standing app that is supposed to make use of the browser's resources.

Well then you need to find the creator of the App and ask for help using their app.

According to the Windows Event Viewer, Firefox Default Browser Agent issues an "Access denied" error. To me that indicates the blockage is coming from Firefox, not the app.

Firefox has no control how the apps works if it interferes with Firefox programming then Firefox will block it. That's it's security kicking in to protect the Browser itself.
