Hi there, My preview panel is working very badly, it either shows the content of the email or is completely white. What can I do to remedy it? - In some cases the emails appear in very strange codes, thousands of lines like this (iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAPAAAABGCAYAAADyxhn6AAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACx jwv8YQUAAAAJcEhZcwAA) - in other cases, totally blank - in other cases it's everything ok It's working fine, receiving and sending all emails.

right click the folder, select properties and then repair to bring the list index into sync with the actual email data.

Matt, I had the same problem where often nothing would show up in the message preview pane. And when I opened a message all the way, it was blank too. So I followed your suggestion above, and repaired the Inbox. But then my inbox only showed three messages, instead of the thousands that were there before! Thunderbird v. 128.0.1esr (32-bit); Windows 10 Home
