A password reset problem.
Hi, so I've got myself into a little embarrasing problem. I've recently changed my password to a more secure one. It obviously logged me off from all but one device (the one from which I made the change), and when I tried to login on one of my devices it turned out that I don't exactly remember my new password (that's the little embarrasing part) as I didn't wrote it down anywhere.
So my question is, can I (maybe with the help of the Mozilla Support) revert the password change that I made recently without loosing any of my sync data (history, bookmarks, saved password etc.), or should I start cracking my own password, as I'm quite sure I know the main components of it but I'm not sure about the letter sizes and special signs I used.
Some additional info I've set up secondary e-mail and I have access to both of them. I've set up two-step authentication and I have access to it on my phone. I haven't set up the account recovery key.

Unfortunately if you messed the password you have to reset the password and it sends to the primary login email for the password reset. There's nothing more that firefox end user forum can help with a forgotten password. Your reset is always sent to the Primary login email if you lost access to that all other devices will sync will be disconnected and their sync will be deleted as well when you log in to those devices with the new password.
Best would probably be to do a password reset. Best is to reconnect one device at the time and wait for the initial Sync to finish before connecting another device once you have access to the account.
If you can't modify the password or do a password reset or delete the account to have a fresh start then you will have to create a new account.
Neither of these should affect data stored locally, but I would advice to create a profile backup on all devices when you deal with issues like this.
I am logged in on one of my devices so I have access to settings on my account as long as they don't ask for password (like changing it, creating account recovery key etc.) The browser on this device is synced. Can I store all of the synced informations localy and restore them after I reset my password? I will also add that I started using the new device around the password change, so it doesn't have it's own data to sync up (if I understand correctly). Don't know if it makes any difference.
Also, if I remember correctly I'm actually logged in on all of my devices, they're just not synced (as it requires the new password). Can I 'collect' the synced data from local profiles from the browsers on those devices?
Open Mozilla VPN and click (or tap) Already a subscriber. Enter your email address in the email field and click (or tap) Continue. Click (or tap) Forgot your password in the next screen. Your browser will open with a Firefox accounts page to reset your password.

Thanks for Your answers so far. But none actually does what I want. I want to change my password without loosing my synced data. So I guess I need to crack my own password or find a way to save the synced data locally and import it after password reset.
You can install the About Sync extension in Firefox 72 and newer on desktop to check what data is stored on the Sync server via the about:sync page provided by this extension.
Close and restart Firefox to access the about:sync page added by this extension (see the about:about page for possible about pages).
Thanks for this tip. From what I can see the extension lists accurately my synced data (from what I can remember). Do You know if I can import this data later after password reset using the file this extension can export?
You can use the extension to download all data to have a local backup and to be safer.
Well that I already noticed and I did it. But can I then import this data somehow into Firefox sync. Of course some other way than just putting it there by hand.
