export saved logins and passwords

Hello, There doesn't appear to be a way to export saved logins/passwords from Firefox any longer. The info contained in your help file at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/password-manager-remember-delete-edit-logins is incorrect.

We need a way to export this info please :)

The System Details reports a Firefox 63.0 version and that version is too old as login export got added in Firefox 78/79.

  • User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0
  • Firefox 79+ comes with an export to CSV feature (78 needs a userContent.css hack).
  • Firefox 80+ comes with an import from CSV feature (needs a pref flip).

Any reason why you ended up using that old version ?

Thank you so very much! I am not sure why Firefox hasn't been doing updates! I did just manually update it via your link and I was able to export my logins/passwords! I checked the settings and it appears to be set to auto update but since I use my ipad and iphone all the time I don't get on this laptop as much anymore and I figure that is probably got a lot to do with my problem. I do try to use it often enough to keep things updating and it still should have auto updated as my other things do but for some reason it hasn't been. Thank you again!
