can't send out an email-can't forward an email.
I had our internet provider Arvig who handles our computers, email, etc look at this for over an hour. He stated he had never seen anything like this. We have gmail and mozilla is the 3rd party and Arvig is the provider. I spent 2 days trying to figure out what was going on. I wanted to send a mass email and couldn't. These shots are all I can explain. Thanks Jeanne-I receive emails I just can send or forward.

The screenshot tells nothing. What error messages are you receiving? You mention gmail. Is that part of your problem? Can you post a screenshot of the smtp server page in Thunderbird so we can see the settings? Thanks.
