Yes, I have also had issues with 102.0 freezing on Windows and Linux, but since updating to 102.0.1 It's been fine for the past 2 days. I would also try another version like Beta, Dev, or even Nightly to see if they hang. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

This is an older post but I'm experiencing issues with Firefox becoming unresponsive constantly, with an error and reporting the issue to Microsoft message popping up, time after time, it's affecting the operation of my PC outside of Firefox.

This has happened before but always managed to resolve the issue. This time I've gone through the troubleshooting again and re-installed, but the problem persists, worse than ever.

A common event seems to precipitate this problem, a Windows update, soon after, the problem resurfaces.

After using Firefox for many years, I have replaced it with Microsoft Edge since Firefox has stopped working properly for me. Edge is running smoothly and quick to load, no issues.

I will re-try Firefox after the next update to see if that helps, but for now, it's on the shelf.
