My computer crashed with Thunderbird open. After rebooting my computer all my data in thunderbird was gone. I reinstalled the program and still nothing. I went to Troubleshooting information and saw that the correct profile was there. I checked some of the folders in the profile and it seems like my data is all there. But opening Thunderbird only wants me to setup an account. All help is greatly appreciated.
