1000MB+ Memory usage with only 5 tabs open!?
I will have only 5 tabs open and it will go up to around 1000-1100 MB. I have tried refreshing Firefox a bunch, uninstall and reinstall extensions, clearing the memory in about:memory, and have tried getting help on reddit as well. I love the look and snappiness of Firefox, and want to use it badly, but can't due to this fact. Can someone help me?

- Update to the latest version
- Disable resource consuming extensions and themes
- Hide intrusive content
- Check Firefox hardware acceleration
- Reduce the content process limit
- Close other applications
- Delete content-prefs.sqlite file
- Use additional troubleshooting tools
- Firefox tools
- Operating system tools
- Add RAM to your computer
- Upgrade your computer
