This is really a problem, since for some reason, Firefox opens up to 5 processes, even though i only have one tab open.

Now this wouldn't be an issue if it didn't mean that it literally eats up all my memory, so either every tab fails or it just closes itself.

I've really tried everything to stop it from doing this, i set the multiprocesses to 1 (didn't change anything for some reason, i still get a lot of processes), disabled all of my extensions, tried running firefox with and without hardware acceleration, and i just can't get it to work, any help or suggestions?

Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/
in order to check the integrity of your RAM?

You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.

Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ?
If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file.
