How to make Firefox colorize add-on icons like it does to built-in icons?
Hello. Is there a way to make Firefox colorize add-on icons (seen in gray here) like it does with the built-in ones?
When using the AlpenGlow theme, for instance, built-in icons are colorized while add-on icons are not (including official add-ons). See attached screenshot.
Is there a way to change this, or some workaround?

Can be changed via userChrome.css file
Thank you. Is there a generic code I can use to tell Firefox to colorize all of them, or do I have to specifically and manually colorize each one?
For background, extension authors can provide two theme-adaptive icons, one for a light theme and one for a dark theme. I guess Alpenglow uses the icons for dark themes.
I'm not sure how you would colorize those extension icons. If you don't get good leads here, try the following subreddit:
It is up to the extension developer to supply (colored) icons. I have a lot of extensions that have colored icon, so if you do not have any colored icons then you might just be unlucky. There are extensions to have a gray icon when they aren't active and a colored icon when they are active. You can try the default theme to see if that makes colored icons appear in case you current theme isn't supported.
