get Confirm Security exception box regularly after startup

When first started, successfully gets emails. At some point thereafter get the Confirm exception popup periodically. Exiting and restarting Thunderbird gets one more successful pull of emails from the server. Popup and the window opened from the view button are attached below.

It seems to be connected to Bitdefender but turning off most of BitDefender doesn't seem to help.

Upload of screen prints seems hung. Will post question without them and try uploading again.

I am using BitDefender 2019. The menus have changed enough I can't find any reference to SSL scanning. Will ask BitDefender support how to do it.

Problem also happens on outgoing messages. Seems to happen immediately as soon as try to send anything
