Removing a website from your history would not cause you to be unable to go back to that site.

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? Error messages?

Thank you for your reply.

I am trying to open the site - wish.com I have used this site many times and I was able to open it up until I cleared my history (I believe I clicked on forget this website). Now when I try it just shows the top line and nothing else.

I have done a screen shot of it which I will attach. The other screen shot is by using my ipad and this is how the site should look. It has far more options on it.

Thanks again for your reply.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}

I just tried that but it still doesn't solve the problem. Other websites open with no problem, however this does not. I have just found the following on the browser -

Chosen solution

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove everything like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions from that domain, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks. You can't recover from that "forget" unless you have a backup of the affected files. It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

Don't quite know what they mean by the revisit such a forgotten website. I keep trying to open it and it still doesn't open.

It means going back to that website. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

I just clicked on it and nothing happened but I didn't clear any history or forget sites. I think something is happening and there is content blocked somehow. Did you reboot your computer after doing what you did?

Thanks for your replies. I have tried all of those things and still have problems. I had thought it might be their website but it opens on my iPad.
