I am running WindowsXP Professional V2002 SP3, and Firefox 52.0.2 (32-bit), repeatedly nags me to install Firefox 52.0.3esr which isn't compatible-what do I do?
I am running Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP3 on an older laptop.
I am also running Firefox 52.0.2 (32-bit), which I understand is the most advanced version compatible with my Windows XP OS. This Firefox version works well with the majority of sites I visit.
Recently, Firefox began to repeatedly nag me to install Firefox 52.0.3esr. Per your website, Firefox 52.0.3esr is NOT compatible with my XP system.
How do I stop the constant nagging (or otherwise solve the problem)??
Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Have you tried it ? As Firefox 52 ESR security updates for XP and Vista users will continue until May 2018 (Actually June I think) https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/end-support-windows-xp-and-vista
Firefox 52.9.0esr out on June 26 (same time as 60.1.0esr) will be the last major update for Firefox 52 ESR apart from any 52.9.x esr updates for security or allowed stability fixes.
Firefox 60.2.0esr will be out Aug 21 and Firefox 52 ESR will be EOL then. So people will have to upgrade to 60.2.0esr to keep getting security updates if they have not manually upgraded to 60.x.o ESR already. Firefox 60 ESR will require Windows 7, 8, 10.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
