Difference between Common Voice and Voice fill?

Common Voice is a project to collect samples of people speaking, which can be used to design better voice recognition systems in the future. Voice fill is an addon that lets you search for things using your voice. I'm not sure exactly what speech recognition system Voice fill is using, but it doesn't appear to be based on the Common Voice data.
