I need Dragon Web App - Firefox does not allow it. ESR 45 - doesn't work either

more options

I want to use Dragon dictation to control my web brower. On another computer I have Dragon dictation medical running and have the Dragon Web App add on. It works great. But every other computer I try this on, says it is block. If I go back to 45 - I can install it, but it installs "Dragon Internet app" and it doesn't allow me to control the brower like it does on the computer with Dragon Web App

Hi

I recommend that you speak to the team behind Dragon to see if they have a version of their software available for the most recent version of Firefox.

When I go to the download page, the screenshot does say "Dragon Internet App" instead of "Dragon Web App" --

On the other computer, are you using the Dragon extension in the Google Chrome browser instead of Firefox?

If it's something in Firefox, can you copy/paste its full name and identifier? Open the Troubleshooting Information page using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
  • (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
  • type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter/Return

Then scroll down to Extensions and just below that heading, select the table with your mouse and copy it (either Ctrl+c or right-click > Copy), then paste it into a reply (either Ctrl+v or right-click > Paste). It will look a bit messy, but we're used to it. Thanks.

Whoops, those were the keyboard shortcuts for Windows. On Mac, it would be Command+c and Command+v. Sorry about that.
