Hi, my firefox shows 'server not found' when i try to load certain pages, but it will load common websites such as facebook and google. My chrome works fine perfectly for any website. I try to reinstall whole firefox, restart laptop, clear cookies and caches, turn off firewall, set no proxy etc whereby all solutions i got from articles above but all in vain. Couldnt diagnose the problem and so cannot find a solution yet. Anyone can please guide me through?

Hi

Have an example or two of the certain pages that do not load?

Hi thanks for reply. For example, there's a movie website that i used for streaming and downloading movies which is m.skmov.com and as well as kanxi.cc. I can load them on chrome but not on firefox, but the movies only can stream on firefox and not chrome, so chrome cannot fix my problem. Below images prove that chrome works but not on firefox.

What's your computer system and Firefox version?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Try that already, and its still there. Firefox is 50.1.0 and windows 10. I've been suspecting my avira side having problem with it, but i configure the allowed apps too. I have no clue on whats happening. Sigh

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}
