My mouse scroll doesn't work on the website but using up/down arrow keys scrolls the page as it should. I tried these things - -- disabling the add-ons and restarting the browser in safe mode -- clearing cached web content, removing cookies, restarting in safe mode -- enabling the Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available" and restarting -- setting mousewheel.enable_pixel_scrolling to false and restarting -- setting mousewheel.min_line_scroll_amount to 50 and restarting -- changing mousewheel.acceleration.start to +1 and restarting

None of the above works. I have noticed this issue with windows as well. Any help is much appreciated!

Btw this is only happening for a certain site page. Chrome for the same site page enables scrolling through mouse and arrow keys both.

Thanks!

If you click the middle button on the mouse, it turns the mouse into a scroll controller.

Check that the software is up to date.

Test the mouse on another computer.

Tried both trackpad and mouse. With mouse, the mouse controller works as follows. If you keep the cursor above the controller, it behaves as if u have kept the up arrow key pressed, same goes if your position ur cursor to below the controller (circle with 4 arrows displayed on it). Also note that this problem appears with Mozilla on mac and windows and IE on windows (only for one particular page that am writing, I do not have any plugin except firebug)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
