The problem appears every time I try to start Firefox. i get a crash report before any windows open, and after trying to restart firefox, the problem persists and i get another crash report. i have tried installing it again, restarting the computer and nothing changes. I've submited a couple of reports, and the crash reports have been different every time. hi, thank you for providing a crash id. this looks like it may be caused by external software on the computer. please go into your system's control panel and remove any software labelled "Freecorder" or similar or by the publisher "Applian Technologies" or any other toolbars.從原來的回覆中察看解決方案 👍 1

Well it turned out I didn't have any of those softwares in my control panel, but i did have a Freecorder folder in program files that i deleted, and after restarting the computer, firefox started working again, so thank you very much for the help. I was wondering if you could help with another problem. When i have to restart firefox for any given reason, like for instance it's not responding, my add-ons automatically disable and i need to enable them. Do you have any idea why that keeps happening?
If you do not keep changes after a restart or otherwise have problems with preferences, see:
Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename/remove the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in current Firefox releases.
You can check for problems with the files in the profile folder that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.
See "Corrupt extension files":
If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "3-bar button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end of the Search bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this didn't help then delete Add-ons.json and possibly prefs.js in case there is a problem with preferences.
