Since the Amazon tablets do not have Google Play you need to install Firefox manually. Note that mobile Firefox Release and Beta builds installed manually this way will not update like you expect on say desktop or on Android devices using Firefox from Google Play. They briefly had Firefox 9.0 on it until it was discovered that Amazon modifies and resigns the package and caused problems with updates as a result also and it was removed.
