I've gone through many topics regarding this, tried many solutions including resetting Firefox, uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing worked. In other browsers its working fine. I'm a web developer and i find this very annoying. When i use the console i can see that downloading fonts failed. But at my office i use Firefox and it doesn't have any problem.

Hi,

Have you tried setting security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy to false in about:config just to see if it makes a difference. If so, then please use the parameter to read up about it and why it makes a difference. Hope this helps.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

You can check the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled pref on the about:config page and make sure that it is set to true (if necessary double-click the line to toggle its value).

Try to delete the permissions.sqlite file to reset all permissions.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem
