When restoring a session, tabs won't load automatically. How do I fix this?

This happens every time I restore my session: whenever I restore my session, instead of loading each tab automatically like it's supposed to do, it only loads the tab I'm on, so I have to go to each tab (a lot of them) and then the pages load. This is extremely frustrating and is such a waste of time! How do I get EVERY tab to load automatically? This has been driving me nuts! Please help! Thanks.

Go to this dialog:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > General

Just below When Firefox starts, uncheck the box for "Don't load tabs until selected"

Actually, this didn't solve my problem! My tabs are still not loading automatically! Please help me! This is so frustrating! After I saw this, the tabs were sort of loading correctly, but now it's gotten worse for some reason (I have to go to EACH INDIVIDUAL tab)! Please help me. Thanks.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can also check the related prefs on the about:config page.

  • browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand
  • browser.sessionstore.restore_pinned_tabs_on_demand
  • browser.sessionstore.restore_hidden_tabs (tabs in other tab groups)

There are other things that need your attention.

Please Update to the latest Firefox 17.0.x version.

Sadly, it still happens in Safe Mode. So, now what? Thanks.

It still happened in Safe mode. Could please tell me what I should do now? Since the Safe Mode didn't help at all? Please?
