after last update, back button will not go backwards to original link. thus: on any given tab, if A is original site, then navigate to B, then to C, then D, etc-- back button will only go as far back as B. To find original site, I must open up the History menu and search for A.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
