Here's a link to your screenshot -- it replaces this tab, so Command+click it to load in a new tab to avoid losing any typing you may be doing here:

I'm on Windows, so this may not work exactly the same on Mac. If I click-and-hold on a bookmark for about half a second, then I can drag it up and down the folder to move it. Firefox shows a short blue line between items to indicate where the bookmark will move when I lift my finger.

i know the little blue line on a windows machine,i was hoping it would work the same way unfortunately not.

As a "Plan B", does drag-and-drop work in the Library window? You can call that up using either:

  • Show All Bookmarks
  • Command+Shift+b

I suggest opening a new tab in Firefox first, in case you accidentally open a bookmark.
