EVERY page that tries to open causes FF to become Not Responding:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;
Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences
Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.
No I turned off Hardware Accelleration a long time ago.
Also turned it off in Flash.
But it appears to have gotten turned on again. Maybe when I RESET, and lost all my Add-ons... FF really really sucks. But its MARGINALLY more functional than Safari...
Nope. After turning it off, FF became NOT RESPONDING. Restarted, and happened again. Using Safe Mode now.

And why can I make this data entry box wider when ENTERING data, but not when READING the replies? Kind of a useless feature to allow someone to format to line length, but then hard code a much smaller line length when the reply is seen on the web page.

In another thread you said this problem occurred when you restored a previous session. Does Firefox behave more normally if you do NOT restore a previous session?
At some point when using FF it becomes Not Responding.
I suspect its a Flash / script problem.
I have loaded the latest version of Flash the other day.
When Session Manager tries to reload a session, I think that some scripts are not being handled properly by FF and they get stuck.
Oh, the Macintosh CONSOLE app shows these error messages.
And I just RESET FF this evening.

I'm getting similar error messages in Console. I think it may be due to my xmarks add-in. Any chance you were using xmarks?

In fact the other day it went slow and then Not Responding while in SAFE MODE !!!
