Why is McAfee blocking some innocent things in Firefox that it allows in other browsers such as Google Chrome?

One of the sites I used most is Fly Fishing Forums: http://www.flyforums.co.uk/

I never used to have any issues using it with Firefox. Recently however, when visiting most of the pages, McAfee interjects and puts a blocker on the page - like this...

If I press the <Go back one page> button, it will refresh and show the page for a couple of seconds before McAfee again puts up the blocker. Back one... show... then block, back one... show then block... back one show block, back one, show, block... and eventually after fighting for control McAfee will allow me to view the page. That only lasts until I change pages, and then the fight to view starts again!

If I use Google Chrome I don't have any problem, but I much prefer Firefox to Google Chrome (you will be pleased to hear!) so I am keen to sort this. I already tried contacting McAfee and all they did was try to charge me to clean up my PC!
