When I try to load ABC news I get the error message that says Firefox stopped this page from loading. Do you want to allow it? Of course I do, or I would not have gone there. It does not do this onother pages. How do I make it stop?
It consistently does this when I try to read ABC news and when I try to go to my bank's web site. I am getting real tired of this. This message will pop up over and over even after clicking allow. How do I shut this off it is really annoying.

Possibly it is something else generating the message rather than Firefox.
- What is the exact message please ? (It may help if you attach a screenshot)
- what are the affected sites, if they are public ones available worldwide please give the link so others can check
- do you have problems with the bank website before you log on or only afterwards.
You may need to consider if security software or addblockers or similar may be causing the problem and generating a warning message.
The general release of Firefox is now version 9, you may wish to update firefox, and for that matter any other software or add-ons you use.
See:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"
The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
