I am able to delete all of my history except one item. When I try to delete it, FF hangs. Is there another way to delete history items?
Also when I try to delete it, my Quad CPU utilization runs up 25% - as if the delete action swamps one of the processors.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I used Task Manager to end the FF process, renamed places.sqlite, and then reopened FF. A new places.sqlite appeared, all my bookmarks were retained, and all history (except the latest) was gone - including the offending item. I was then able to clear all history without hanging FF.
