To disable Webgl in FF4 I took the following steps: 1. 'about:config' in the address bar. 2. hit the 'I'll be careful button' 3. 'webgl' in filter field. 4. set 'webgl.disabled' to 'true' by double clicking. 5. set 'webgl.shader_validator' to 'false' by double clicking.

Is this sufficient ?

Setting webgl.disabled to true should be sufficient.
