Trying to re-establish my T-Bird mail system w/ both my comcast (working just fine) and my Google ([redacted] @gmail.com).

Each time I attempt to login w/ T-Bird, google mail gives me this message:

400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

The short answer is, make sure cookies are allowed (<Settings | Privacy & Security | Web Content | Accept cookies from sites>). That will probably be enough, but if it isn't, try the addition steps I mention.
