about:config Query String/Specific Parameter
Is there any way to open the about:config page to a specific setting? I frequently toggle a particular setting on and off and would like a quick way to bookmark it for easy access.
I'm thinking something along the lines of: about:config?setting=media.peerconnection.enabled
Even better would be to allow a new value to be passed in as well: about:config?setting=media.peerconnection.enabled&value=true

That is no longer possible. In the past before the change to the aboutconfig.html page there was support for a ?filter=xx parameter, but they didn't include this in the new design. There is support for a regular expression if you include an asterisk (*) in the search query.
You can possibly use the Browser Console to toggle/modify a specific pref. You can recall code you the past, so it isn't that much work.
var pn = "media.peerconnection.enabled"; var cv = Services.prefs.getBoolPref(pn); Services.prefs.setBoolPref(pn, cv == false ? true : false); console.log(pn, Services.prefs.getBoolPref(pn));

Thanks for the reply! That's not what I was hoping for, but it's a workable solution
