Hi all,

Apple has revised/updated their iCloud web portal. The backspace key no longer registers in the iCloud Calendar app on the web. This is specific to Firefox on Windows - I've tried other web browsers to access iCloud web portal and Chrome's backspace key registers so its not an Apple iCloud problem, just Firefox. Is there a setting or do I have to wait for an update?

I've encountered a very weird behavior: when selecting where to save a file or selecting a file to upload, the browser hangs 100% of the time.

Even when I go to about:memory, click Load, the path selection window appears - regardless of whether I select a file or close the window, the browser hangs and the window stops responding. I tried waiting for several hours - to no avail. Only restarting helps. Same with the upload selection window - regardless of whether I selected a file to upload or closed the selection window, the browser hangs. Before freezing permanently, the mouse cursor stops moving, then lags around a bit before recovering.

I tried cleaning download history, cache, recreated profile, restarted without extensions, in safe mode, disabled antivirus - always the same result.

Please advise me, maybe someone has encountered something like this - I really don't want to start using Chrome. My OS is Windows 11. Thanks in advance.

Why does FireFox not allow me to play videos in Youtube above the resolution 360p. Since now FireFox won't allow me to play YouTube videos from 720p or 1080p anymore. While other browser's allow me to play above 360p up to 4K resolution. What is going on with FireFox this never happen before until the upgrade of FireFox in Manajaro ARM.

I have a macbook pro. For some reason the time zone in the browser is one hour behind. Every page I go to asks me to use my current location, but still, the time zone doesn't update. The other browsers work just fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, deleted cookies, but nothing worked.

In trying to use features of various apps, the app tries to connect to Firefox, resulting in an error message "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." But in fact, Firefox IS running. An example of this problem is invoking updates of some apps; another is in Zoom trying to login using SSO. It leaves me stuck, and the only solution I have found is to use Edge instead of Firefox.

I'm no longer able to log in to BankofAmerica.com using Firefox but can do so with Chrome. BofA tells me that Firefox is most likely put a block that isn't showing up. Can you remove that block or tell me where to find the block to all Bank of America to log in to my account?

Amazon Prime no longer saves my place in TV series I'm watching. If I was 15 minutes in on episode 9 of something, when I came back it would still be in the same place, even months later. Now it doesn't do that anymore, even if I come back a few minutes later.

Amazon says Amazon Prime does not work very well on Firefox, and my issue does work fine on the other browsers, but I don't want to use them if I can avoid it. Firefox works fine for Hulu and Netflix and the others. I don't have any other issues with Firefox other than this one.

Does anyone know anything about this and possibly how to make it work like it used to?

Firefox v. 118.0.1 64 bit Windows 11 Pro

When I download a pdf from ebay and try to open it with firefox or adobe it is saying undefined I can open other pdf's with no problem , I have contacted ebay and they have indicated that the problem is not on their system , I have obviously altered something and don't know how to reverse it , previously it would open the ebay PDF's no bother ,can you advise what the settings should be

I don't use google as my default search and yet whenever i start typing g or go or goo, etc. the search option automatically becomes a google search. I don't even have google as a search engine option in my settings. how do i get that to stop doing that.

I prefer to have all my previous tabs open when I start up Firefox, which means that I don't want them to close upon exit. Recently, Firefox started closing my tabs upon exit, even though:

- I tried both hitting the X and choosing Exit from the hamburger menu
- I have checked "Open previous windows and tabs" upon startup in settings
- I have not checked "Delete Cookies and Site Settings when Firefox is closed"

- I have the option "Firefox will remember history" selected

- I do not open in Private Browsing mode

What other settings do I need to change? Debra

It really irritates me whenever i use youtube, facebook and other kinds of websites. The missing of the round corners makes the whole page sucks and ugly. I tried updating firefox, checked my settings, nothing changed. Is there a way to fix this?

My website keeps coming up as deceptive via Firefox. According to the hosting site (Wix) none of the other scanners are flagging it. We have tried everything and Wix says it could be a false positive. How can I get rid of the flag?

Whenever I try to watch a video or stream (any site) I can watch the video just fine as long as the audio is muted. However, when I unmute the idea, the video pretty much stops (can stutter a little bit) and the audio plays a roughly 5 second loop of when it was unmuted. This happens on all sites, all formats of videos.

vpn plugin on one browser won't connect to internet so i have to stop using it to go anywhere. if i use the vpn for the whole system, using a firefox browser doesn't give me clean connections so i can't get to some sites. any suggestions? do they know about this? i noticed in my settings i am now using a custom setting for tracking and a reinstall of the plugin said it now had to have access to 'private windows' which i've never had to do before. do i need to switch to the chromium browsers? cheers in advance.

Sometimes I get notifications from Firefox which send me to "usefulcontentsite.com" (don't click this, might be harmful!) and when I click them, uBlock Origin blocks them. So I'm pretty certain that is spam (or worse). However, I could never attribute this to any page or maybe some harmful extension I have installed. Also, I mostly block site's requests for notifications.

Here is the list of installed add-ons: - ClearURLs (recommended by Mozilla) - Firefox Multi-Account Containers (official extension) - KeePassXC-Browser - uBlock Origin (recommended by Mozilla) - User-Agent Switcher and Manager (recommended by Mozilla)

So imo nothing exotic here.

Does anyone here have a clue where those notifications might come from?

I switched from chrome to firefox like 2 days ago. Everything went good, but every time i go to youtube it does not remember my login. I have to click the login button and use my phone to confirm the login. Afterwards i get send to an error page only saying "something went wrong". If i click the login button again it suddenly works and i can use my youtube like i used to on Chrome. I use my google account for youtube. Every other login works just fine Reddit, Disney+, Twitch, Prime. I Cleared all my cookies and history and even reinstalled Firefox. only youtube still has this problem. I even added the youtube and google login page to the saved logins. Does someone can offer any help ?

Sometimes there are interesting articles an e-mail contact would like to read but my settings will not allow it to be forwarded. I also lose connection constantly.
