Why do I keep getting errors like www.ancestry.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR and other sites that I regularly access.

Thia has been happening since the last update several days ago.

Hi, There is very little help if you can still log in in FB and Twitter but you lost all your feed and messages. It happened after refreshing FF. Switched both profiles in about:profiles. Logged out and in in both. All there is left is, check if Java script is enabled. Pretty desperate, but I'll try. So I am looking for my web content. According to this, I have to look for "list all tabs" under the "carrot icon". I can't find it.

I am trying to register with Stripe, through their register page, but it just shows up blank in Firefox. (Shows up fine in Chrome.) Is there a settign in Firefox I might have set up wrong?

‘Due to age/infirmity my typing has worsened & mistakes are made when typing my Primary Password, resulting in having to re-type it 2 or 3 times. Is there any way I can see what I have typed instead of a row of black dots? Many thanks for a quick response Peter Gordon Smith

With only one tab open in Firefox, the attached jpg is what I see in my task manager.

My desktop is extremely laggy for obvious reasons....but dont know why.

Confusing to see so many child tasks under the parent.

Anyone know what I need to do to over come the general slowness etc on my box.

Hi, I'm new to Firefox and purchased Mozilla's Firefox Private Network Browser Extension. How can I tell that it's on? Should I be seeing some sort of icon on my address bar or something? And what could be the problem if it isn't on?

Compared to Chrome, when I login then a can see extension icons on the bar. Should I be signing on to Firefox too?

Hello, I know it may sound like a Google issue, however, when I used Google Chrome as a browser instead, I did not have this problem. Now, when I'm on Google Drive, whenever I try to make a new folder it has the message "Working" in the corner forever & it won't allow me to create a new Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, or Form. I tried making a new folder on my phone & Google Chrome, and they both worked fine. I use Firefox as my default browser, and I want to keep it this way, however, if I can't use Google Drive with your browser, I might have to switch because I'm in college, and need Google Drive for my work. Hello, I was using a website that has a list editor with a delete button. Everytime I clicked the delete button, the website would ask me to confirm with an alert. There was a checkbox below from Firefox that that sounded like it would make the website stop asking me to confirm every single time, so I clicked it. Now, the delete button just doesn't work! I think Firefox is just blocking the button from doing anything at all. I need that to start working again but I don't know how to find where that setting might be stored. Firefox doesn't show individual cookies and I'm afraid to delete all the website's cookies.

Is there a direct solution to this problem? Thanks.

FYI the website is justinguitar.com, and the list editor is part of the Practice tool.

Firefox just updated and now there's a significant white border at the bottom of the browser. This interferes with websites that cannot scroll to get to the information hidden. What happened?! Fix this!

Whenever I sign into NFL+, I get stuck on my account page on firefox. I have to copy the url of the previous page to go back to the video page. It works like If I was signed in, but as you can see the top bar with scores to black and it looks like I'm not signed in.

On the other hand. It works perfectly on Edge. As soon as I sign in, it jumps back to the video page and works every time.

I don't have any add-ons.

I am running a fresh instaled Ubuntu 2022.04, so this is the first Firefox-from-snap.

I am a Jupyter user, and when launch the Jupyter-lab (which try read a file in ~/.local/... directory) I get the deny; I can launch it when connect to Jupyter server, which is an annoying behaviour.

I browse for help, so I change the "security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy" to false, but didn't help

I verify that Firefox let me navigate my personal folder, but deny access to hidden folders (name starting with dot). I test this behaviour by create a new directory in my personal folder (navigable) and then change the name by adding the initial dot (access denyed).

I guess this is an effect of security policies of Firefox, but how can I change this policy in a safe way?

I've been using Firefox on my PC for some years now, but occasionally I have experienced problems associated with filling requested fields. Today's example was a form for arranging a parcel to be collected by DPD. I filled-in the required fields for postcodes for source and destinations. Instead of progressing to the next stage I was asked to enter valid postcodes, apparently not recognising what I'd entered. I did that twice with the same result. I then copied the URL from the top of the screen, and opened it in Microsoft Edge, and I was then able to continue successfully.

That has happened on several occasions over the years, indicating a background fault with Firefox. I'd hate to migrate away from Firefox over such a small problem, but it's something that needs looking into. I apologise if this issue has been notified before, but to date it hasn't been rectified.
