I signed into Firefox on a lab computer that has too little storage space to install plugins (<1MB storage space left.)

Naturally, plugins did not install. I wanted to ensure that Firefox would not even attempt to install them in the future, so I set the browser not to sync add-ons.

I don't know whether what follows is because of that setting, or because I set it too late. In either case, my dozen or so plugins on my main computer have now all been uninstalled. I don't know the names of all the plugins I was using anymore.

1. Can I recover my automatically uninstalled plugins? 2. Can this bug be patched?

How do I paste in the game forge of empires thread windows with my mouse and without clipboard keyboard options in firefox, it will only allow me to use clipboard control V for keyboard not my mouse, using my mouse to select all, copy, it's fine, cannot use paste with mouse, only in browser search bar, i do a lot of pasteing or i would not ask, it works with a diff browser, Firefox is the best for gameing,

I am trying to migrate from a very old version of Firefox (v. 55) to the current one, but there is an app that is more helpful to me that all the other features combined. That is the "Tab Grouping" app that will not run in any version of FF higher than v. 55.

In my work, which often includes a tremendous amount of research, I need to be able to quickly go from one group of tabs to another. If I had to open all these sites manually, that would take the better part of the day and frankly I don't have near the mental capacity to remember the tremendous number of tabs. I have had a couple replies (Thanks!) to this question sometime back, but unfortunately none were even close in performance.

So, can anyone direct me to an app that will allow very quick movement from different sets of windows/tab groups (please see screen shots below)? Is there anyway that I can get this app to work in Legacy mode? I have several other old apps that work perfectly well in this mode.

When I upload an image with Firefox, it typically shows a red tint. I've seen similar reports from decades ago so I disabled `gfx.color_management.mode` in `about:config`, but that didn't help, even after restarting the browser and the computer. I disabled a couple of related settings, but that also didn't help. What else could I try?

I can't find any way to group windows. Yes, "windows".

I have about three dozen windows open (yes, there are a lot of tabs in them), and not just at home. And it’s hard to quickly find your bearings when you need to switch to another task (workspace). It would be nice to at least change the color of the windows, depending on the type of work. But in the API API I don’t see the ability to define a window property where you can specify a group identifier, which can be used to restore the color after re-opening FireFox.

If FireFox had a built-in or its own reliable extension for organizing thematic work, a deferred workspace (without losing the contents of windows). Arc browser - they realized that what browsers have been denying for a decade is already overdue, and they will be able to take over the market.

I tried several extensions for saving, restoring and organizing workspaces, and came to a clear conclusion: only the built-in FireFox solution for restoring windows after a crash/opening is the only truly reliable solution. There is no trust in extensions that are not supervised by a good team of developers and testers; there is a guarantee that data will be lost in the near future.

It is possible that in recent years some expansions have been completed. I'd be glad to know about it if you point it out. But here a question arises on a separate topic: improving the mechanism for rating and testing extensions, recommended extensions program.

Hello. The Owl Zoom add on for Firefox OSX has stopped working. No changes made to any options or add ons. Date noticed about mid- December 2023. Reverting Firefox to its state from before the issue occurred did not resolve the issue. This process does not work: "Click on 'Settings' and the pop up menu has an item for 'Zoom'. Click on 'Normal 100%' and a pop up list for several zoom values should appear but it does not appear. In addition there is no Owl Zoom icon in the video task bar. This has happened on two iMacs and one Macbook Pro at the same time so not device specific.

Well, basically that. On normal browse ( no incognito ) tabs will re open if I re-launch firefox, even with the "Open previous windows and tabs" option off.

Am I missing something or is it normal ?

The Firefox "New tab" page shows quick-navigation buttons. At the top right of each button, the 3-dot menu has an Edit option. On the edit dialog is a link "Use a custom image", which then prompts you for a image URL.

I've tried pointing this to images in my Google Photos (a 1024x1024 .JPG), using an open-shareable link, but it doesn't work.

a) What format does the icon image have to be in? b) Are there any limitations on the URL? c) Is there a way to use a locally stored icon image?

Hi Mozilla Suport teams, i am currently using the mozilla for the developer version and the app runs flawlessly, and i love it. But i have some suggestion for the developer at mozilla to make a tab that can group the tab into a fresh tab like the google chrome has, and since i open so many tab in this browser, i would absolutely love it where the feature of grouping tab is available for me, so i can group them in name and leave it there, rahter than open up more than 10+ tabs in a window. Ever since I loaded 120.0.1 (64 bit) I have had problems accessing numerous sites. For example, https//HOn30.org. FIrst I get several "Having trouble ..." messages, and when it does come up it's a blank screen. I have had this happen wtih Library of Congree, eBay, and most sites from linking within another web site. I have tried playing with the "HTTPS mode" and the "DNS over HTTPS" to no avail. What changed with this version and how do I fix it. Win10 Sp1 64bit Dual Xeon E5 CPUs 128gb RAM nVidia Quadro K5200 w/8gb VRAM C: = 1tb CT1024 SSD (Crucial) D: = 2tb 7200 rpm WD E: = 5tb SSD (Samsung) F: = 1.5tb Seagate (can you tell I used to be tech support?) The File -> Page setup option used to be visible by default. Now I have to dig into the "hazardous" about:config menu to enable it. This was available by default for years (decades?). Why is it now hidden away from average uses who may not need or want to mess with the custom prefs? Feels like Firefox is becoming more difficult to use rather than easier.

print.prefer_system_dialog and print.show_page_setup_menu seem like really basic features that the average user would want by default. Both require a trip into about:config now.

Hello, so I have some 4-5 add ons installed on my Windows computer and Linux machine. They both show up and sync well when I install or re-install Firefox when needed. But recently, I got a Mac and installed Firefox, logged in with my account and to my surprise it didn't sync all of the extensions. I waited, then quit and restarted the browser, still no luck. Even after shutting down the computer and then trying did nothing. I checked update despite having just downloaded but no luck yet. Must be some bug so please fix it

I know that Tor has this thing for fingerprinting and I also want to know If i can turn it on for Firefox because I like how it looks. Is there a way I could turn it on? I heard it's called fingerprinting letterboxing or something.

Is there some way to enable and disable specific config settings , on a per-site basis?

For example, let's say I want to disable right-click hijacking (dom.event.contextmenu.enabled) on turtlesaregreat.com, but use the default settings everywhere else.

The Page Info > Permissions panel has some, but not all the ones I want. Is this somehow built into Firefox, or maybe there's an extension?

FF120 on Sonoma

Offidocs has hijacked my Firefox browser making it impossible to read PDF files. I never added it and it does not appear in my extensions list. I've marked "always ask" in the preferences for opening PDF files but to no avail. My antivirus and Malware bytes scans are negative. How can I get rid of this?

My Firefox browser keeps autofilling username on one important website and it is preventing me from accessing that website. Website indicates that this username is not valid. How can I stop this?
