After a reinstallation of FIREFOX, it failed to login to sync with Firefox. My account and password input are correct. And I can login to my accout with Chrome (https://accounts.firefox.com/).

my OS: ubuntu 18.04 firefox version: 100.0.2

Hi I don't know what has happened to Firefox, I used it all the time for many years, now I can't sign in to Outlook and have more problems than ever. It asks me to sign into Microsoft but all I get is a blank page. Firefox was always more colourful than other browsers that's why I used it and nothing you do to try to fix this problem doesn't work, it creates more problems than it's worth, that's why I use Chrome, but I do want to use FF. Not all of us are IT experts and can't do all these complicated suggestions every web site offers, so can you make it so much easier for us to understand and for example get Outlook to open automatically as it used to do, until you can fix this I will have to use another browser. I really do like FF but it's impossible. Geoff.

I never want to see this content again and am considering switching browsers.

I don't want to see or think about ads, i don't want to know what getpocket is. I don't want chefs plate and their columbiahouse 2.0 bullshit product. It is absolute trash.

I do not want to see these things. Ever. Again.

If there is no way to remove these things from my browser its time to go back to chrome.

One aspect of Firefox I value is the ability to customize headers and footers on printed webpages. This ability is important for my work.

I customized the headers and footers in the about:config interface according to advice posted [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1323433|here].

Recently, these settings don't take effect when I print webpages to pdf. I've triple checked that the settings are correct, but every time I print, the header and footer remain in the Firefox default configuration. Inexplicably, my preferred settings do take effect if I set the destination to "Fax." All other destinations don't work.

Is there any way to make these settings work again? Sadly, this might be a dealbreaker for me if not.

I haven't used my microphone in Firefox in years. I tried today, logged into Google Voice, which tells me it can't access the microphone. I set permissions in Firefox's settings. I turned up all the mic settings in alsamixer. I tried https://mdn.github.io/web-dictaphone/ , recommended in another thread here, and it doesn't record either. I can use the microphone outside X, with sox's rec. I also can't record a new greeting in Google Voice.

Firefox 100.0.2 , Linux, Slackware 64-bit, all packages updated this morning.

My system disk failed, so I had to restore it from pretty old backup, with old Firefox version installed and old profile data. Now I want to start Firefox and reopen all my recent tabs from Firefox Sync, but not from my local (old) profile. How should I proceed?

Per an article on yahoo news, I decided to clear data by going to: Settings->Privacy & Security->Cookies&Site Date->clear data

In hindsight, this turned out to be a mistake. Previously when using yahoo mail, it let me stay logged in for two weeks. Now I have to log in each time. There are also 2 or 3 other sites that logged me in automatically, but now have to log in every time.

How can I undo what I did?

I'm not sure what happened in the latest update, but it broke the Canvas website that I use regularly for classes and homework. I've checked and confirmed that Canvas still works normally on Microsoft edge.

Extensions shouldn't affect the website because Canvas was working normally until the recent Firefox update.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

I am getting Access Denied on many web sites that i have used frequently. For example, for the site https://www.apartments.com/ I get this message:

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.apartments.com/" on this server.

Hi I'm using Firefox to open PDF files from a network directory. The reason is that it's probably the best PDF manager I can find.

• What I wanted to do was have an option to open the file in a native viewer such as Adobe, this way look at 2 parts of the document at the same time.

At the same time keep it in Firefox.

Is there a setting to do this or an add-on. The add-ons I've seen are meant to open directly to Adobe from a web link I think.

I know this has been asked before but I've looked through past instances and couldn't find a solution that still seems to work as of 2022. I need a way to disable certain built-in Firefox keyboard shortcuts. I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox but if I can't disable the ctrl+i and ctrl+b keyboard shortcuts I'm going to have to switch back. I use both very frequently for work, so their non-functionality in this browser is genuinely impacting my productivity and it's getting really frustrating.

Hello. On some of my sites that i try to get onto with Firefox its says performing TLS handshake then it goes to Secure Connection Failed and says PR_End_Of_File_Error. I am totally updated with Firefox, plus i cleared out everything in my history. That did not help. When i tried to get onto these websites with Chrome web browser i do not have this problem at all. Why is this? I have BitDefender Total Security newest version for home. My firewall is through them along with virus protections. So can you help me out with this ongoing problem getting on some websites?

A lot of times while coding I press Ctrl+S to save Visual Studio Code and update live server (while watching on firefox the result). The problem is that when I'm focused on Firefox Ctrl+S pops up the Save Page window and (if I held Ctrl+S for more than a split second) it crashes (probably due to multiple popups becoming unresponsive). The mouse can't click to cancel the pop ups for saving the page nor interact it. I have to kill the firefox process and restart it. I've been looking into disabling Ctrl+S shortcut in Firefox with no success (extensions are deprecated or require too many permissions I'm not comfortable with).

Would someone help me to disable Ctrl+S or enlighten me on how to not have firefox crash every time I accidentally press Ctrl+S?

Firefox eventually crashes every time I use it, usually when there is about 165 mbs of data. I can relaunch it by both using CCleaner to clear the browser in addition to going to Firefox preferences and deleting data and history. I don't have Flash or Silverlight. I have refreshed Firefox a number of times and completely uninstalled it using the MacCleaner Pro App Cleaner and Uninstaller and reinstalling it using Mozilla's online download link.

Recently some programs, such as Word, are opening behind the browser window, so the only way I can access them is by shrinking and moving the browser. I also find that when a program does open in front of the browser, (as did Excel just now, I am unable to pull the browser window back to the fore without shrinking or closing the app window - ie closing excel - as I did just now. I have tested this in Chrome and Edge, and they seem to behave just fine, so the problem would appear to be with Firefox settings, but I can't locate a setting to tackle this.
