we have a file named file.loa in a repo/website. When we download the file in firefox, it gets downloaded as file.mp3. If I download the same file in Chrome, it gets downloaded as file.loa. What is making firefox rename this file please? multiple people have been able to reproduce this weird behavior.

I use my regular gmail account in Firefox and Firefox is my default browser. Chrome pops up a login screen to allow me to sign into my school account or my regular account.

On Firefox when I go to google and click the login button, it takes me to my school login screen. How do I reset it to use my regular gmail account. My school uses gmail.

Can Firefox ask for the correct account when there are multiple accounts?

W10 Desktop. I cannot see a way to ADD "TUSK" search engine in Firefox. When I click "Find more search engines", Firefox takes me to "ADD-ONS" where TUSK is not listed. How do I make TUSK my default FIREFOX SEARCH ENGINE, please & thank you??.....Pat

After a windows 11 update, the sound on firefox started to crash, where after I start a video on any streaming service, the sound cuts off after 1 second. The sound works without problem on chrome with the same streaming services. Also, the sound works without problem with all other apps. Just not firefox...after one second. Any solutions?

Firefox crashes after granting permission to use my webcamera. I performed a complete refresh of profile and without installing any extensions or setting up Mozilla Sync I tested using this page https://webcamtests.com/ and everything works as expected.

I think installed my list of extensions that I use and tested again, everything worked.

I then enabled Mozilla Sync and tested again, immediate crash right after granting permissions with a TCC policy violation according to the crashreport.

I then tested in safemode with all extensions disabled and it still crashes. So it works before enabling Mozilla Sync, but not afterwards, so something in my sync is causing this EVEN when in safemode.

I can't get to them. it's an email provider called tutanota it's encrypted email. I just changed the password and didn't save it in firefox so what is stored there is the old one. I changed that about 2 hours ago but I don't know if that mask creator created some other info or what and now I can't access my email. can you help me? they don't have support for free users. please, I can't lose that account, I use it for work

Hi, do I need to keep a file called Firefox 109.0.dmg in order to use firefox on my macbook? This is my first time using a macbook and also downloading firefox for the first time. I've always used school computers/work computers that already have it downloaded. I'm pretty new to all of this. Thank you!

When Firefox automatically updated to 109.1 tonight, I lost all my saved passwords and bookmarks. The bookmarks aren't in a file under 'Restore' in 'Manage Bookmarks' (but I had saved them so I got most of them back). But I can't get my passwords. What happened?

I use firefox as my browser and to operate my 3d printers web interface, on my local network

with firefox the data that the printers display is very slow to update, for example if i input a movement command of say 10mm firefox takes at least a few second to display the number that corresponds to the movement change, its definitely firefox as opening the very same machine and sending machine commands in any other browser does not result in a data lag.

Targets Red Card, Credit Card, has a login problem which does not occur in Google Chrome. The problem seems to be connected with the sensitivity of the input fields for user-ID and Password. Win 10 latest updates 2H22, removing all add-ons makes no difference. No, I will not reset my Firefox, I have stopped doing the work that was supposed to be done by programmers. You might want to also make it known that stores, banks, and other institutions should double check their work because several major companies like American Express has a non focused security code field for two step logins. The default should be to place the cursor in the input field for the code and make it active. They do not do this.

I suddenly started to get the whole posts in a pop-up/new overlying window on Facebook, if I click to read links to comment-section. First I thought FB had changed, but a Friend using anothr browser dont get that. Its very annoying. Someone who can help to remove the pop-ups? Thanks in advance!

When I log on to Firefox on my computer, I have an annoying Adbloc advertisement which I cannot get rid off. I am not interested as its asking for payment. I have selected block pop-up ads in Settings and not making any difference. How do I get rid of this unwanted intrusion please.

I downloaded Firefox on a new computer. I logged in with my existing account and synced my data

This was successful. All of my bookmarks and extensions were downloaded properly.

I went into the customize menu to alter my toolbar. However, there were no icons for any of the extensions that I added, such as Bitwarden or Ublock Origin.

Due to this, I am not able to add these extension icons to my toolbar.

I verified that the extensions were all properly downloaded and that they work as they should.

I have already attempted to restart Firefox, uninstall and reinstall certain extensions, and to reinstall Firefox entirely. However, my extension icons do not show up still in the Customize menu

I am not trying to do anything in the Private Browser.

How can this issue be resolved?

I signed in to my account on my desktop today just as I have for years. I was asked to verify it was me. You sent me a code. I could not figure out where I was supposed to enter that code. I saw no instructions where to type it in and I could not see any space to enter the code into. Now I am locked out. I have been on firefox for years. I am 76 years old now, a recent stroke victim, and this is very confusing to me. Can you make this simpler? Please explain where I need to type in the code you send and let me try again. Please reply. This is stressing me up. It all started today when I tried to add this account to a new iphone my kids got for me. I have only used android phones on my firefox account. I won't try to add firefox to the iphone again. iphones seem to be complicated enough as it is. I can use it on Microsoft I hope. but I still need firefox to continue working on my android desktop. Firefox has all my passwords for other apps stored on it. As well as the saved favorite websites I have placed on there over the years. Many, Many of them. I am used to having the firefox saved password function to quickly log me in to those applications . My Unsorted Bookmarks folder was mistakenly moved to the Tool Bar Menu and when I tried to move it BACK to the sidebar...everything went SOUTH. Now under 'Other Bookmarks' the Unsorted Bookmarks shows as a sub-folder but does not open. I've read 100 ways to find and/or fix this but nothing works. PLEASE...some help ASAP. ALSO I DO have a backup on my in a desktop folder but it didn't IMPORT.
