I downloaded a Firefox security update today and now Firefox refuses to load any page from the web. What do I do?
When I opened Firefox today I was advised of an update to resolve security and stability problems was available to download. I downloaded this and was unable to access my homepage, and any other page on the web.
I tried to download Firefox without uninstalling, as I wished not to lose my bookmarks and favourites. During this process I was advised that the download had been interrupted, but I could continue.
I then entered the Install Wizard, which appeared to successfully complete.
However, I am still not able to access any web pages there Firefox.
How can I recover Firefox as it was before the 'security update' as of yesterday?
Regards
Alan

hello Alan, this usually happens after an update when your firewall doesn't properly detect the new version of the browser and therefore blocks it: Fix problems connecting to websites after updating Firefox
