i have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled the latest version and i still get typing delays and typically if i go too fast, then it just freezes. anyone heard of this or know of any solutions?

This may be a problem with the sessionstore.js file that gets updated every few seconds.

Make sure that your security software isn't blocking access to that file.
