Firefox keeps opening "update" tabs forold updates whenever I start the browser, and I can't figure outhow tostop them. Can someone help me with this?
Whenever I open my browser, regardless of how and what I saved in a session, it ALWAYS open the same five older tabs for previous updates. I can't seem to get it to clear or delete them.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
Damn! That didn't fix it either.
I really don't get WHY tabs I'm NOT saving keep opening anyway. And no matter what session, or lack of sessions, I use.
You can try to reset Firefox.
Reset creates a new profile and tries to import some settings from the old profile leaving the old profile intact.
