When I click on a new tab, the tab will not open, so I can only have one tab open at a time. How do I correct this?

I've been using Firefox for about a year, and I use multiple tabs all the time. This evening, when I clicked to open a new tab, nothing happened. Firefox starts up and displays the first tab with the website I've specified, but when I try to open new tabs, nothing happens.

Probably caused by the Ask Toolbar extension in Firefox 3.6.13+ versions, disable that extension or un-install it.

Thanks. I don't have the Ask Toolbar displayed on Firefox. I'll check to see if I can find out how to disable or uninstall it.

Thanks. I did uninstall the Ask Toolbar, but I'm still having the problem opening tabs. Any additional suggestions appreciated.

You probably have another addon that is causing it.

Thanks. That fixed the problem. When I went back to the Add-ons, I found that although I had uninstalled the Ask add-on last night, it had been redownloaded since then, although I was unaware of it. I disabled all add-ons, and that fixed the problem. It probably was the Ask bar after all. Thanks again for your help.
