No Add On is working after doing an uninstall / reinstall (tried creating new profile etc. but didn't help)
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Keep your existing Firefox installations. 2. Install the new Firefox 4 Beta. 3. Uninstall Firefox 4 Beta. Choose to remove all settings, site preferences, customization. 4. Open your old Firefox. Except the basic installation, everything else is gone. 5. You uninstall and then re install old Firefox and then you add Add Ons to Firefox. No Add On is visible and working. 6. You delete old profile, create a new profile but it doesn't help. 7. You uninstall again, remove the Mozilla folder from User/AppData/Local and User/AppData/Roaming folders and reinstall Firefox again. But again there is no change. No Add on is working.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Add Ons should be working. No Add on is working.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 3.6.13 on Vista x64 Service Pack 2
Please provide any additional information below. There are some additional problems which I am not sure if related with the problem I described above. 1. After running Firefox for sometime, doing a right click pops up a box but except the boundary of the box, nothing is visible. 2. Earlier, when I was clicking on the statement link on a few web sites, it was opening the statement is a separate window in the pdf format. Now, on my system, the click doesn't do anything. The pdf gets opened on other systems with the same Firefox installation.
Also, I am logging this question from a different machine, so information captured in background may not help.

Sorry, but that was the wrong thing to do. That option removes all Profiles for all versions of Firefox that you may have installed, not just the version that you are uninstalling.
Thanks for your reply. I later on tried steps 5, 6 and 7 also to fix this problem. Any idea, how this problem can be fixed.

"Addons" include Extensions, Themes, and Plugins. Which are you having this problem with?
Are you not able to install any extensions?
If so, do you receive any message about why the extension isn't being installed?
Are there any messages pertaining to extensions in the Error Console?

If you removed your personal data while uninstalling the beta version then all profiles are removed and Firefox will create a new profile that obviously no longer has your extensions, so you will have to reinstall them all. If you want to test out the beta version then be sure to create a separate profile for that version and don't remove your data if you uninstall any Firefox version, unless you really want to lose everything and start freshly.

I have the issue with Extensions. I tried to install extensions such as Ani Weather, AdBlock Plus, Google Shortcuts, Skip Screen and WOT.
Firefox said the installation is successful but the extensions were missing after I restarted Firefox. Although, they were still visible in the Add Ons window.
