Suggestion for you: at the very top, simply add 3.6 (or whatever version is running) to the bar so users know what version they're running. Thanks. radio2sid@fnwusers.com
I should not have to go somewhere to know what version of Firefox is running on my machine.
So, just add the version on the bar at the top: 3.6.11
Hey, how simple is that?
Thanks.

You can do that with the Customize Titlebar add-on.
You can also see that version information in Help > About Mozilla Firefox.
Or with a bookmarklet if you want to know what websites see:
javascript:void(alert(/Firefox[/][\S]*/.exec(navigator.userAgent)[0]));
