I may be a sloppy typist, but I'm forever hitting Ctrl-i instead of capitol I, as well as whatever combination takes you forward, back and sideways. I never use them, except for Ctrl-t, which is useful, and the touchpad on my new laptop makes this much worse. I lost several paragraphs in Gmail tonight, when the browser went back. Forward went to an empty page, hardly the first time this has happened. Is it possible to disable the damnable things? This is on Fedora 13 with version 3.63.

I used to use the keyconfig extension to change keyboard assignments:

There may be other addons that will do it too.
